듣고 또 듣고.
다른 트랙들도 좋았지만 이 슬픈 노래가 특히나.
집에 가는 전철 안에서 몇 번이나 눈물을 삼켰다는...
이적의 쓴 가사와 멜로디도 좋았고
다양한 음색으로 너무나 잘 표현해내는 정인에게 감탄하게 된다.
다만,
베테랑 가수의 첫 앨범인데 트랙 수가 적은 게 흠이라면 흠.
앨범 제작은 길메오씨가, 앨범타이틀은 김C가 지어줬다는군.

Madonna의 Hard Candy(2008) 에 이어  Nelly Furtado의 Loose(2006)를 듣고 나니까, 전체적인 분위기, 악기들의 사운드가 비슷비슷하다. 완성도나 몰입도면에서는 Madonna의 앨범이 분명 뛰어나지만, 왠지 따라한 거 같다는 그런 생각이 드네.

어느덧 크리스마스가 한 달 앞으로 다가왔다

Achordion의 Happy Merry Christmas는 어쿠스틱 사운드와 보컬 - 사실 아코디언으로 연주하는 캐롤을 기대하고 있었다 - 이 편안함과 신선함을 전해준다
Nat King Cole 의 The Christmas Song은 부드럽지만 느끼하지않고 답답하지않은 - Bing Crosby 와는 정반대! - 목소리로 축하인사와 노래를 들려준다

한편 걸쭉한 - 담배냄새 나는 - 고음불가의 목소리로 불러재끼는 캐롤도 있다
바로 Bob Dylan의 Christmas In The Heart
아마 처음 듣게되면 도대체 뭐야 이 목소린... 노인네, 주책이야 이럴지도 모른다
그런데 두번째부터는 이상하게 속이 시원하고 슬슬 신이 나기 시작한다
늙어버린 포크의 전설이 말한다
인생 어두워 외로워
